♡ Inspection Process
Once a Teddy Cob has reached 25% Bond, it is eligible to earn its Breeding Certificate. Successfully earning this certificate will unlock 5 breeding slots, which can be used to create foals with other Teddy Cobs! To earn your pony's Breeding Certificate, first reach 25% Bond. Then, draw at least a Fullbody + BG (bridle/halter and lead required) or write a 1500 word story depicting your pony's inspection process. Teddy Cobs are evaluated by a panel of two judges and one veterinarian to assess their adherence to breed standards, including conformation, health, and temperament. Ponies that are deemed breeding quality are then issued a Breeding Certificate, giving their owner permission to breed them with other Teddies!
This process within the group is a matter of completion rather than judging - don't worry, we won't be scrutinizing your submission! That being said, all inspections should clearly have effort put into them, and should depict the inspection process in reasonable detail. If standards need to be put in place later on to ensure this process is being followed in good faith, we will do so. For now, all you need to worry about is producing a piece you feel proud of!
Once complete, submit the piece to the gallery, then head to Inspections to do the following:
- Select your gallery submission from the dropdown
- Add your pony to the Characters section
- Add Currency / Breeding Slots / 5 to Character Rewards
- Hit Submit!
Staff will review the submission and give your horse 5 breeding slots. Breeding Certificates are permanent once issued, even if the pony is transferred and drops below 25% Bond later. To determine if a Teddy Cob has earned its certificate, click the "Breeding Slots" tab in its sidebar. Geldings are, for obvious reasons, unable to earn a Breeding Certificate, unless they were gelded after already doing so. New slots can't be booked on Geldings, but any existing ones remain usable at any time.
