Amal is the mother hen of her barn, a sweet lovely lesson pony who also is used to pull small carts of a few little children.  She takes her name sake, of the Sun to heart. She delights in mothering everyone and thing around her, which includes any and all of Charon's foals, even if they're not hers. She is happy to step into any motherly role, onto foals, children, anyone. She's been used as a foster mother to this.
