ID-0498: Batter

Sometimes referred to as Batman by the visiting riders and stablehands, Batter is a polite and calm pony. He is not the first one to come up and investigate, nor the one who wants or craves attention, but he is friendly when approached and is a good lesson pony for the children. With his herd mates, Batter is more active and runs about quite often, playing mostly with GLaDOS and/or the local goats who sometimes enter the paddock. Him and his pony friends are often outside during all seasons, but have shelter that they can wander into if its raining or be taken inside their stalls if the weather is especially awful. They are put in their stalls at night. 

Batter, together with Bella, GLaDOS and Sydney, drive carriages either as four or as two (mostly him and Sydney, but this can switch between Bella or GLaDOS). He often drives competitively, but has done carriage driving for events or shows. He is kept the way he is on the picture, with mane and tail getting braided or tied up during events and competitions. He does not get the woolies.

Batter has a harness fitted for his body and used for carriage driving.
