• Has been known to bite, kick and has various other violent habits. He seems to be calm enough with Bear, but children have to be accompanied by an adult when catching the other gelding to avoid Viper's incidents. 

• Is believed to be violent out of fear - when happy and content, he is an absolute joy, but when routine changes, he gets nervous and fights back. Was calm and polite as a foal according to his first owners.

Viper is a tedious figure to handle. Having been sold off from the Pony Club itself due to having been seen to be occasionally too harsh with the children, he has found himself in the hands of Bai Jieying - more commonly known as Jade - and they've managed to get on famously. Jade took a while to figure out how Viper ticked, but after a short while, he managed to find what the little gelding enjoys most - racing.

With a constant need for speed, Viper never knows when to slow down. He has various tendencies to bomb off in open fields or rush at fences, but if you put him on a racecourse for him to run to his heart's content, he's shockingly an angel. Don't be put off by this pony's little legs - he could go for miles.

Not much of Viper's original history is known - but from what his passport tells, he has had more owners than he can remember. This has caused him to get nervous about having to leave the life he's gotten comfortable in, and he now sticks to a very strict routine that Jade follows to the minute each day.
