Profile ID-0001: Roger That!

Roger is an exuberant little fellow with an undying love for raisins. He has been ridden by a little girl named Katie for the past year, though they first met months before that, as his paddock borders her path home from school. After months of secretly feeding him boxes of raisins from her lunchbox, her mother grew suspicious when she refused to eat raisins at home despite insisting they be packed in her lunch every day. Eventually, Katie fessed up, and by her next birthday she had successfully convinced her parents to let her visit the stables officially. Roger's owner, an older horse trainer named Dean, was happy to make an exception to his retirement, and the rest was history. Katie takes riding lessons at Dean's barn twice weekly, though she can be found snuggling Roger (and sneaking him raisins) over the fence most days.

Roger is very sweet and friendly, happy to follow anyone who will offer him some forehead scratches in exchange. He was trained in Dressage earlier in his life by Dean's granddaughter, but when she and her mother moved across the country years ago, he was left to live a peaceful - and mildly fat - life as a pasture ornament. Returning to ridden work has slimmed him back down somewhat, and he seems happy to have a job again. He is certainly a push-button pony, and has served as the perfect caretaker for Katie as she learns the basics.
