Archipelago #1! I have apples!!
Mulan sighed as the young pony trotted away with the bell ribbon in mouth, her short-cut tail swishing, pleased with herself. He stood, leaning over the fence, the seal bay sabino Teddy Cob pranced about the paddock with a deep red ribbon dangling by her muzzle. Archipelago they called her - she evidently wanted to have an adventure on one. At 12.3hh, this semi-feral Teddy with the soft white markings was an excitable mare, though it seems she wasn't the most sociable with the rest of her herd. She loved to paw at the ground before the humans that surrounded her, and they loved to give her their attention. It seemed everyone was after the playful pony, and in all honesty, she looked worth it.
Tying his sleek black hair behind his head and sighing quietly, Mulan swung his legs over the rickety brown wood with flaking bark, feeling it creak underneath him before his feet landed neatly on the ground once more. It was getting late, but time with schoolwork and at school itself had been far too much to warrant getting to meet the ponies at any other time. The clouds were starting to roll in across the sun as it said goodnight, waiting for the moon to pass its own judgement and show itself off before the crowd. No doubt some people would wait for the night when the children had passed, but for now, the crowd was at the point where it was thinning instead of growing.
Within this herd of ponies, there were all sorts - tall stallions with lavender coats, even taller mares with soft coffee-coloured fur, and a few little brown ones with their big white markings. There really was something for everyone within this group, which was a nice sight to see - everyone always loved the ponies either way, but when there was such a variety, it brought in new audiences and new visitors to their location. When the ponies were located and listed by the people issuing the adoptions, they are labelled with their nickname, their height, the first day they were ever spotted (usually their birthday), and their colour genetics. The little mare that had not only stolen Mulan's bell ribbon but also caught his eye was a darling pony with a fluffy coat, fuzzy feet and a long mane, her reddish-orange points glowing in the fading sunlight. When she dipped under the trees outlining the paddock, she seemed to hide along the shrubbery like a pale face in the dark. Or, well, she would've been, if she wasn't too busy showing off her new ribbon that accompanied her alongside the ones already tied into her mane and tail.
The ribbon almost made her resemble a Chinese Lōng, one of Mulan's favourites to doodle whenever he was bored - huh, maybe it's fate.
